Holiday 2010: Pay It Forward
“It is every man’s obligation to put back into the world at least the equivalent of what he takes out of it.” — Albert Einstein
“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” — William Arthur Ward
Welcome to The Collective Conscience Holiday Show. On today’s episode, I’ll be talking about two things we should do, not only at this time of year, but all year long—give of ourselves and be grateful for our blessings.
I’ll also be throwing in a few extra songs to celebrate the holidays, so hear the talk, listen to the music, and most of all, be blessed during this holiday season.
Also, thanks to everyone who checked out the last episode, “Practice Makes Perfect.” And a special thanks to those who sent love in the form of comments and emails. As always, I appreciate all the feedback you’ve been giving. Keep sending it!
(FYI: If you’d rather talk than write, call The Collective Conscience comment line at (646) 926-3616 and leave a message. I’ll respond by email, and maybe even mention you on the next show.)

Practice Makes Perfect

“I feel that the essence of spiritual practice is your attitude toward others. When you have a pure, sincere motivation, then you have right attitude toward others based on kindness, compassion, love and respect. Practice brings the clear realisation of the oneness of all human beings and the importance of others benefiting by your actions.” — Dalai Lama
Welcome to Episode #1 of The Collective Conscience podcast. Today, I’ll be talking about spiritual practice—what it is, and why you might want to incorporate into your life.
What do you do for your spirit? If you participate in some sort of practice, please let me know, either by email, by posting in the comments below, or on the comment line at (646) 926-3616. And if you don’t have a practice, that’s okay, reach out anyway and say hello—I’d love to hear from you.
Also, a big “thank you” to everyone who checked out the intro episode. And for those who commented here on the website, or by email, your words of encouragement were really helpful as I worked to put this show together.
Please come back for the Holiday Episode, where I’ll be discussing the attitude of gratitude and the spirit of giving.
